This is pretty neat, an rbl server for windows. I have no idea why people wouldn’t use a *nix but this appears to be an alternative. If you didn’t know:
Rbldnsd is a small and fast DNS daemon which is especially engineered for serving DNSBL zones. It can serve both IP-based and name-based blocklists. All zones are kept in memory for faster performance with a decent memory footprint.
Now their is no excuse for larger sites to not run public mirrors of uribl/surbl/Etc.
