I got a new Dell D420 laptop last week. (It’s plane friendly size 0, and 7hour battery life and stunning screen made it a no brainer) I’ve been running ubuntu Feisty Herd 5 since day one. It was an absolute breeze to install, upgrade to XGL and add just about every 3D desktop tweak that my nvidia backed workstation has. It’s plenty quick enough on this Duo 1.2 too. Just got to get the display/dpi fixed to avert a couple of fuzzy font and I’ll be all set. The upgrade to 7.04 beta was painless too.
