I looked at the MailChannels “free beer” edition yesterday and decided that 10k/day is not enough for my personal mailhost.
...and yesterday wasn’t a busy day either. IMHO it’d have much better adoption if it had been free for non-commercial use like MT Etc. since it has wide appeal to the hobbyist lower middle class sysadmin type. Tried it at home and bought it for work isn’t a bad sales model after all for geeks. I wonder if they cope with PayPals’ silly/borked SPF records? Comments:

Hi Chris,
Good point. We’ll make it free for non-commercial use as well. If you write me an email, I’ll generate a permanent license for you. Stand by while I change the language on our web site.

BTW - to get a non-commercial license (to unlock more than 10,000 connections per day), email free-beer@mailchannels.com. Thanks for the suggestion, Chris!
Regards,
Ken
